Record Update and Upcoming Events

E-mail Print PDF

The 2010 State meet has been included in the current records.  Congratulations to all of the lifters who set records.  It is a testament to the positive direction that South Carolina powerlifting has taken over the last couple of years.  Send me an email with any omissions or corrections that may need to be addressed.

The North Carolina State Championships will be held on October 9th in Shelby, NC.  We will be having three South Carolina lifters testing for their Judging Certification at this meet.  Other opportunities will be coming up in the upcoming months, so you guys are NOT off the hook just yet!  The Shelby Community Center is an air conditioned, very nice venue and Allen Davis puts on a really lifter friendly meet.  Try to come out and lift at this one.  You won't be disappointed!

Congratulations to all of the lifters at this past weekend's state meet in Irmo.  Meet results and updated records will be posted soon.  Congratulations also goes out to Jon Mouzon who was elected as our new state chair.  Thank you to former state chair Regina Hackney for the years of service that you have given to the lifters of South Carolina.

Time to go to work....

I wanted to thank everyone who came out to the USAPL South Carolina State Championship last weekend to vote and compete. I was truly impressed with the turnout for the event and I appreciate all of the support. For those lifters who were not able to make it, I have been voted in as the new South Carolina State Chair for the next two years.
